Training
Making Connections can offer several different styles of workshops and courses:
Experiential where participants engage in an interactive process to develop for example: skills of awareness, communication, decision making, leadership and management, supporting the individual and their family, inter-agency working.
Taught workshops where participants will engage in discussion and written course work related to evidence based practice. These workshops are supported by bespoke workbooks.
Interactive workshops where participants will use scenarios and drama supported by experienced actors and a skilled facilitator who will explore key issues in health and social care.
Enhanced Workshops
Many of our workshops and courses can also be delivered in an alternative style using Creative Arts and Drama, delivered by experienced actors and a qualified facilitator in Dramatic Arts. Key messages are embedded into the workshops and the facilitator guides participants sensitively through the learning experience
Stakeholder Workshops and Conferences
These events are facilitated by Making Connections using experienced actors and facilitators. Each stakeholder event will be interactive and aims to engage the audience in exploring key issues in developing policy and practice.
Making Connections provide a range of innovative and creative approaches to delivering workshops. Our aim is to motivate learners to engage in a process of learning which:
